  • Feeling pretty stoked - dropped my BF close to 50%

    About a year ago, I measured my BF at 16%. After pretty much watching my diet religiously and working out I got down to about 12%. Then, I used Lyle McDonald's Ultimate Diet 2.0 - a carb cycling program and today, I am at 8.8%!!! I am totally stoked!!!!

    Now, I don't know if the absolute measurement is accurate or not since it was done with one of those Omron handheld meters like below. However, I used the same device every time and even if it isn't accurate, it is pretty consistent and the delta from a year ago to today should be accurate.

        That's awesome. I can't say if the numbers themselves are completely accurate, but the amount you dropped should be if you used the same test every time.

          Thanks guys! I have learned a lot over the years from SM and have tried to apply what I have learned to my nutrition and exercise methods. As many of you know, I am vegetarian and natural, so this has been challenging but I can tell you honestly that it can be done with some discipline.
