  • outdoor cardio low/high impact

Since i've been back training I've found that I cannot stand indoor cardio on some machine. I tolerate it when I lift because it's there, but recently I have started using this dirt path behind my house.. it's great an exact half mile long and while it's nowhere near the variations in the ground, compared to say a real hike, it does make it always tougher on my core (ultimately I want to be back training high impact again). Any of you guys mix it up, prefer indoor, outdours?

I prefer indoor cardio, unless I swim. I get bad shin splints from running. Sand has mad the splints worse. Although, if I find a hill I run hills for like 40-50 minutes and that has to be the best cardio I have ever done.

If ran anything for 40-50 minutes you would find a bodydump haha. I feel you on the shins but at least for now being outside, nothing can compare to it. Love that freshness.
