    Ok so im giving her a go for 5-6 weeks here.
    Looking to make some good gains!

    Just finished my first 2 days so here are my baselines for 1 rep x 10 sets

    ME: 172lbs, 5'10"

    Flat Bench: 195
    Bent over Row : 170
    Curl (preacher): 25........
    Standing Military Press: 50
    Squat (smith): 200
    Seated calf raise: 540
    Dead lift:80x2(no bar available)

    Site note: Shaved a moustache today. :thumup:

    2 weeks in, still same weight.
    Gains in curls, and military press and dead lifts. Also taking only 20 seconds between sets.
    Flat Bench: 195
    Bent over Row : 170
    Curl (preacher): 30 >
    Standing Military Press: 55 >
    Squat (smith): 200
    Seated calf raise: 540
    Dead lift:85>

      Shouldn't you have started out with greater rest in between each set? I don't feel as though you are advanced enough to start with such a low resting period for this training.

        Oh, and what I meant by this was not that....iirc from reading his book correctly Mentzer did about that time rest. Might have been good for us...less freakish guys to take a little more rest in the beginning to see how it works out first.

        Not that you don't know how to train or something.

          My first 2 week i did wait 1 minute-30sec between my sets.... The goal is to get down to 15 seconds rest between sets.
          Why would you need to take more time inbetween sets if you can do ur 3 rep max 1x10 sets with 20 seconds rest? Where is the gain?

            I guess the question is, is it really your 1x10 max?
