  • Pulley Push Down: rope VS bar

When I train my triceps with cables, I use a rope instead of a steel bar for the moment. I like it because I feel like can put more effort into it. During the hardest reps, you can put your fists together and still get the rope down with all your might. Is this a good thing or is this just bad form? Any other comments?

I prefer to use a more free moving habdle when ever possible. I trains my body to make the movement instead of partially relying on the habdle.

Does that mean that you prefer rope in this case?

Let's get back on topic: rope VS bar, and why?

I was messing with this in the gym yesterday. I think the different handles create enough difference in movement it all depends on the goal.
