i've got a new job which has a 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off split. which is 4 hours away from home. i'd drive home on my days off.

my question is, is it possible to effectively work out with the few days that i have off? working out after or before work is not an option. there is no gym close to where i work out of, and i'd be working 14 hours a day, so wouldn't exactly have the motivation.

i'm not looking to get HUGE anymore, just want to get back to my clean diet and shed some fat and retain my muscle.

so what do you guys think?

i guess but what your saying is you would work our for 3 or 4 days straight and then have a week off in between workouts. definitely not optimal.

Buy some dumbbells! bring em with you to camp or wherever youre going.

i'm staying in a house with 1 other guy. so it's not camp work. good idea though, i never even thought about that. i'm definitely not going to spend 3 grand on weights. what do you think would be the "must" weights to have if i go that route?
