  • Got my heal strike diagnosed as pronated

Went into a specialist running shop, they put regular ascics on me and video'd me on the treadmil, it was funny I had to be real careful not to come down too hard as when I did the treadmill belt stuck still lol!

never knew I pronated that bad but he tried me with a pair of Saucony designed to counter the pronation and video's me again, PERFECT FORM!

Gonna try them out tommorrow and aim to start a lil track running (not timed or anything, just running on the track to save stepping in dogshit in the parks) a couple miles or so each sunday.

Also bought an arm strap to put my ipod in and new headphones that clasp you ear.

Just need an FT7 Polar now for heart beat and calories:thumup:

That sucks man. Glad you got it checked out. Good to hear you got some good running gear.

Now get your fat ass to the track and run

I need to do that. Did it cost you extra to get tested?

yeah I'm glad too, I never knew it until I saw.

Just got back did 4KM, really quite pathetic but I ran one circuit walked one circuit and so on until 10 x 400m completed. Gives me a base to work from

Cost no extra its free, also the shoes I bought were £85, which is cheaper that my Air Max 95's that were £105, so they didn't push me towards more expensive just genuinely got me the right trainers:agreed:

Ha, nah aint gonna happen, 4km is gonna be my paramiter, all that'll happen is as I get fitter I'll job more than walk, and eventually perhaps run, but 4km only, probably only once a week, two max.

That way I never go to the gay side. Obviousely keep doing weights 3 x a week.

Basically being without AAS I just find it harder to hold as much lean muscle so I need to drop a bit, aiming for 230lb with 30inch waist.
