  • I just don't get it

I mean, where are some people raised???

I walk into the ladies locker room at my Gold's yesterday- this bank of lockers is set up in an L shape- with benches in an L in the middle. There is some middle aged lady on the corner of the L getting dressed. I look for a place to put my bag, but I come to realize she STREWN HER BAG, SHOES, ETC ON ONE BENCH, AND HER EFFING SHIRT IS LAYING OUT ON THE OTHER!!!! WTF!!!!!:fight:

Then, I'm working out on the cable machines....looking for the right bar- finally find it, only to figure out someone took the clip. So, I reach over to the row machine to get a clip, and with my back turned, THE EFFING GOLDS TRAINER STEALS MY BAR HANDGRIP!!! :pissed:

    UN-FREAKING- BELIEVABLE

Ah the joys of Golds. I just think it's the clientele that goes there. Same shit goes down at the one I go to. One day I was gonna use the leg press machine. Trainer is on there with a girl using a 25 lb plate on one side and had done 5 sets with her already. So I ask how many sets left figuring she was pretty much done. She goes "oh we have like 5 more sets left". I wanted to say "10 FUCKING SETS! IF YOU'RE GONNA DO THAT USE ONE OF THE PUSSY MACHINES THAT GOES TO 100 lbs!"

Just intimidate people to get what you want in the gym; If one person is taking up all the benches in the locker room I would take my gym bag and use it to sweep everything into a pile. Same with people using the wrong equipment or doing too many sets; call them out on it. This world is so concerned what other people think; if you just go out and do whatever you want people rarely ever call you on it.

You can do as many sets as you want. Sure, it's better to pick the most appropriate equipment, but you don't need some trash talk from the cool big guys about how many sets you're doing.
