ace, acsm, issa are a few if you need any of the books pm me they cost like 500 bucks for all the material, I have the ACE and ISSA books and course so that would save you a ton of cash if you need them. I have the CDs books, sample tests and all.

      Personal Training Accredidation

This is just one site, but there are plenty out there to research. The main thing is to make sure you get something to easily market yourself with. The names you and other trainers may know are not always the same that clients will know. Whether the clients have any idea of the difference, they will go with what's comfortable.

get a cert that is recognized and most gyms will pick up up pretty fast learn what you can when working at a gym mostly how to interact with clients and then free lance and you can make great money. Most gyms only pay by the hour like 12-15 bucks but if your good and free lance you can charge 50-100 per hour. There are tons of guys who do it online but I think youll make more money in person going after the soccer mom crowd or doing fat loss boot camps in your area and alot is advertising.

Just remember that getting your cert is on part of being a trainer. Selling your self (being a good sales person), getting clients, retaining those clients and getting them to use and buy more sessions are all parts of being a trainer. Don't be cookie cutter, but don't be to specific for now. Find a niche and run with it, then worry about specializing along the way.
