also -- a personal trainer is hired for knowledge --- just because he or she doesnt look the part doesnt mean they dont possess the knowledge to push one past there limits !!

yeah I take your point champ, personally I wouldn't be mentaly strong enough to take direction from someone like that, maybe an older retired guy that used to lift, but never a skinny guy who never was anything, not for lifting anyway. Diet yeah no probs,

Training is like that,,,what works for some....some wont even try. Its something thru experience that you find what works for you,,,obviously this works for him.
