I'm going to agree with that red - I can hit the fucking things barbell behind in front - db's - on back days on shoulder days - bottom line is my back will grow wider - shoulders will grow wider - anything to do with thickness is always a pain in the ass for me. Fucking heats my nuts.
I am that way with calfs they just dont grow.
but I do see "EVERYONE" doing traps the wrong way. it is east to hit the top part but no one knows how to hit the back bottom part. when you learn that it will make a huge difference in your traps.
one thing has made a big improvement rocket - I use to hold the db shrugs out more - now i let them roll up and down my leg so i can let them drop alllllllllllll the way down - this way i feel my traps really pulling all angles.
Think i will stick w/db's on shoulder days. and switch it up if im still having problems. I'm 6'2 so it's frustrating when you can't get traps up to size with other things man , fucking hate having any resemblence of a pencil neck :fight: :fight: !
delts the 2 best things i do that make my traps grow the best are upright rows and one arm shrugs using a smith machine i seem to get a higher shrug using just one arm then using both arms at the same time on the smith machine
AOW, try shrugs behind the back, heavy but then drop sets. My traps were stubborn until I hit them like this. If they have a bar at your gym that has a dip in the center, use that. I find it keeps it out of the way of my ass.
I mean go really heavy bro. Get 2-4 reps on the first part, but then drop it so you can hit close to 10 on the second part, and drop it one more time to finish. did the job for me
I do them with shoulders cuz back and bis are enough for me. I do shoulders traps and hammy together.
Hammys are part of my legs but I dont do them on leg day.
This could be said just about anything you fucking idiot:rofl: :retard: lol
Once again, i think you have misunderstood. My point was that some people have traps and some don't, just like calves. I never train traps yet they are FUCKING MASSIVE. Its about your body type, Im a short compact guy so calves and traps have never been an issue for me. Tall skinny guys seem to struggle with traps and calves.

:( this seems to the base , anyone above 6' I know has trouble filling in their traps / calves / arms - I have a good peak on my biceps, triceps don't grow well at all - leaving me with decent measurements but lacking that thickness.
Traps drive me insane - looking @ the chart rado posted though - I'm starting to think they will go with back , I do normally military press / side sb raise monster set / rear db raises (then raise rear db machine for a good squeeze)
no upright rows etc.
Now after back (say deads / bent over rows) my traps will bark at me a little - so I'm going to incorporate them after back from now, I may very well be over training them and not be aware of it. :fight:
okay - when you are using db's - do you do what I do an roll them up and down the leg or hold them out some ? I find rolling them really puts a better pull / squeeze on the muscle.
