My body (and mind) from training for the LSAT and triathlon orginally, as well as my lifting, and now sky diving, has taken its toll a bit on me. SO I was debating on actually taking a whole month off. I'll be on vacation from Aug 10 for 11 days. When I get back, I plan on starting my law school apps. I'll finish them all by Setp 8 when I'll go back to working out. I have not taken more than a week off in over three years.

Good idea, or too much rest?

I think rest is good. durring you time off you will know if its to long your body will tell you get back in the gym.

Too much rest for me (I'm guessing because I have never taken that much time off). If I took a month off it would be just as easy to take a month off my diet too. They go hand in hand for me.

I totally agree - since my injury I haven't been able to get myself to eat much at all honestly, I've lost weight - haven't eaten normal schedule or anything - it's getting to a month right now, leaving for docs in about 45 minutes to see if i can get the go ahead finally to train.

Over 2 weeks off and I'm not only edgy im down right not good at life - lifting and the dedication to diet / train holds my brain together to stay out of trouble and to set goals in life period - then achieve them.
