I'm about a year out from a 3 level fusion in my lumbar spine with instrumentation (rods and screws). Besides leg extensions and curls, can anyone recommend anything else. Anything that applies weight bearing from the waist up is out, that includes any presses that puts weight from the bottom up as well...too much pain and my surgeon doesn't recommend it. He states, "you only have so many miles on your back, how long do you want it to last?" Thanks ahead of time for the input.
