I am no pro body builder by any means and I admit I've neglected some areas of my body over the years. This may be a bit elementary but when is the nbest time to do dead lifts? Do them on the day I do legs?

I do deadlifts on back days. You can do Romanian deadlifts on legs to hit the hamstrings and isolate them, however that's not always necessary.
The days I do deadlifts my workout routine is this:
6 sets of Lat pulldowns and than I go on to deadlifts. I do anywhere from 5-7 sets depending on how I am feeling.

So my lat pull downs look like this:
1st: 90lbs for 10 reps
2nd: 150 for 10 reps
3rd: 200 for 8 reps
4th: 220 for 7 reps
5th: 240 for 6 reps:
6th: 250 for 5 reps
Deadlifts:
1st: 135 for 10 reps
2nd: 225 for 9 reps
3rd: 315 for 5 reps
this is where i access how i am feeling. If i am in feeling fine I'll do 315 for 5 reps, and than move on to another back exercise.
If i am feeling really fuckin good, I continue like this
4th: 375lbs 2 reps
5th set: 405lbs 1 rep
6th: Depending on my energy i'll redo 405 and hold it at the top.
If i follow this routine each week that right there is 40-45min. So I rack up the weights, grab my shake and go home.
Since I do not do this routine each week, the other week I change it up and do other things.
