  • how many reps/sets for leg training???

    just curious cause when im doing squats im aiming for 8 reps with good form on heavy weight. reading an article somewhere and they said more reps of around 15 is best for growth?

    your comments please? i want better definition and bigger legs

    There is no set number. You have to experiment with what works for you. Try something for a month and see what works for you.

      No matter what leg exercise i do, i must warm up minimum 2 sets. Get some good blood flow in there, stretch out.

      In my working sets, its the same as other muscle groups. 6-8 reps. Recently I have been doing 8-10 and enjoying the pump.

      However last week for hack squats I did 3 sets 15-20 reps with good form. The pump in your legs is great. After my 2nd set I couldn't walk, lol.

        I lowered my weight last week and did box squats. Man oh man was I sore. Using a slow deep movement was a nice change for me. Don't be worried about how much weight you are using and focus on your depth and form. I see way too many people do a half squat with a lot of weight instead of getting nice and deep.
