  • Shoulder press without back support

    Hi there,

I tried to do a search on this subject but didn't find anything being said about it. I'm training at home for the moment, and my question is if it is okay to do seated shoulder press without back support.

    Thanks for any advice.

I only do shoulder presses standing up. The key is to keep the core tight and as B said keep good form

Stfu your waist is wider than your shoulders, your torso looks better upside down.

Youl move more weitht seated with back rest, stood up is good as a variation for front shoulder press. You can eirher do it both feet togerher and squeeze your ass and core, or lunge very slightly

Seated for isolating delts, standing if interested in a compound movement like a push press.

Yes I forgot we are on a bodybuilder site my bad I should of said for over all strength standing is better but for bodybuilding shoulders seated is better seated you can use way more weight and concetrate on just shoulders instead of your whole core.
