    heres my current split..
    Sun-off
    Mon-Chest/shoulders/calves
    Tues-Back
    Wed-Legs
    Thurs-Arms/calves
    Fri-off
    Sat-off


    Looking to add shouders to a day of its own..and also keep sat and sunday as off days. Any suggestions? My cause for this is bc i feel like training shoulders after chest just isnt working for me.

    Chest and shoulders have significant overlap. Do them on the same day, or separated by atleast 2 or 3 days. I used to do chest, shoulders and tris on the same day. Logically speaking that's the best combination but te workouts got too long. So my current workout is something like this:

    Mon- chest and tris
    Tue - back and bis
    Wed - abs, forearms, other misc stuff
    Thu - legs
    Fri - shoulders, abs
    Sat - cardio
    Sun off

    This way, I give significant gap between chest and shoulders. I am fully recovered over the weekend to hit cheat again in the following Monday. I do cardio at least 4-5 days a week.

      I am doing a 5 day split now.
      Mon Back abs
      Tues Chest calves
      Wed Arms
      Thur Delts abs
      Fri Legs calves
      Sat Rest
      Sun Rest

        i dont like the friday, sat, and sun in a row as off days.

        i think off days should be spread evenly through the week.


        mon: arms

        tues: off

        wed: legs

        thurs: delts

        fri: back

        sat: chest

        sun: off
