    I don't usually lift at night, so I can get enough post-workout nutrition, but I had to tonight. Of course, I had my pre-workout drink with stimulant. Now I'm afraid I'm gonna have a crappy night sleep-wise. Will melatonin or anything else counteract stimulants and get me some decent sleep or am I just screwed? :tired:

    Guess I could always call in sick to work and start my weekend early so I can get some extra sleep!

      I wouldn't sleep either bro. Can't drink that stuff for that reason.

        yeah your kinda fucked. I would take the pre-workout drink around 4pm no later or ditch it all together.

          I just figured I was screwed--even if I could have slept, I like to get at least two meals after my post-workout shake to make sure my muscles are fed for recovery--a regular meal and then my nighttime meal, so I was up after midnight anyway. Felt good to get the right nutrition after working out and sleeping in this morning felt even better...after an early email to "call" in sick!
