  • Arm Training

Just got done arm training, bi's and tri's. Do you guys? work out the same way when you work out arms? I trained them about 45 min. Feel good. Came home and had 20oz of egg whites and juice together and have pizza on the way. can't wait.

Bro I switch it up i'm strong in my triceps but feel i'm lacking in size all though people tell me i'm not. sometimes I do tri's right after bench but that also means tri's get trained twice that week because I have arm day where super set bi's/tri's. You have to remember how much your triceps come into play when doing compound movements like bench or shoulders presses as well..

Don't agree with doing arms before chest. The tris are a smaller muscle than the chest and you are hitting it with a bunch of isolation exercises on arms days. Tomorrow when you do chest with compound exercises, your tris are going to give out sooner than your chest. I think doing chest day first followed by arms day makes more sense.

My roommate and I do not train arms directly and dont have a day for them. Then again we only train 3-4x/week max.

I never told him to do arms before chest I said sometimes I do my tri's only after bench presses...and common sense tells you to have your workout routine set up where all your muscles are being trained on proper days and getting the right amount of rest recovery. Like chest followed by triceps next day legs

Not saying you did bro....cedubb said that he had chest the day after arms and that's what I was responding to.

agree with Dago. I tend to have a 72 hour window for recovery.
                  example:
                  day 1 - chest
                  day 2- legs
                  day 3- cardio
                  day 4-shoulders
                  day 5- back
                  day 6- bi's n tri's
