lifting like a power lifter builds core. its important to have a strong core but its easy to go overboard. the point IMO is to have a small attractive core with everything else being big. Flex Wheeler type build to me is tops. Branch Warren type build while impressive looks like garbage IMO.

Muy interesante. A lil spanish lol but care to explain how he ruined his core? Bad form?Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postwith the genetics and drugs that guy uses, he would look the same or probably better if he cut the weight in half and used strict form. that guy has ruined his body with his training style. he's to stupid to realize he's made his core massive by his training style. He had tons of potential to be a great pro like Flex.

Not as good form as the powerlifter guy but still a lot of weight so to be expected.

And look what the did to him in the end, check Lee labrada and Rich Gaspari, those light lifters, lebrada would purposely hit every other leg excercise and squat last with only 225lb, seen how he looks lately!Originally posted by TC63 View PostI would say that those weights are for power lifters/weight lifters, and not for bodybuilders - but how can you say that, it's ronnie coleman's afterall..
Coleman born 64
Rich Gaspari 63
Lee Labrada 60

agree with bouncer though, no way you can go super heavy then bring elbows right out to side, and stretch safely. You either do damage or you hold the muscle so stiff for fear of doing so that you don't do FRM.
I've lifted.some heavy stuff for the sake of it, we all have

The most I've done on flat bench were 175lbs for a few reps and shit was no joke. But felt good moving the weight in a nice controlled manner. You wanna talk about a fucking stretch and basically no room for error; try that shit.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Poststill heavier then shit. i cant imagine that weight really has any benefit. no matter how big you are that weight IS doing damage to tendons, ligaments, joints etc.. its not just the muscle that lift the weight.
