  • Training traps all the way down

    Hey guys,

What's the best exercise to train traps that go all the way down?:panic::panic: You know what I'm talking about?

I'm talking about the lower fiber.

Do you try a spread squeeze when it gets really close to your body?

Look at this beast...This makes me think that I have nothing compared to his back..

      Joel's back is insane.

The same thing that develops upper traps. Shrugs.

redback said seated cable rows but i am pretty sure they develop more rear delt/rear lat not so much the traps.

Didn't think shrugs would hit it all the way down there. Good stuff.

I honestly hardly ever work specifically traps and mine are pretty big. I do quite a bit of pull ups when I do back just to warm up and I know that helps a lot. I do three sets of ten of wide, narrow and behind the neck pull ups with a nice stretch. Now I'm ready for deads and other back routines.

They hit that slab of meat that runs down each side of your spine. Lower traps.

If you squeeze your shoulder blades back you will feel it
