  • My wrist hurts

    Hey guys,

    My wrist started hurting a week ago, whenever I move it up or down(i.e. push up position it hurts):noo:. I did a week of lighter weighs and it hasn't gotten better. What should I do?

    Proper form is my last name, and not willing to take a week off ;)

    Your last name is dumbass if your not willing to do what it takes to fix your problem.

    Take a week off while you still have a choice. Ibuprofen wouldn't hurt either.

      :rofl::rofl:somehow I knew you'd say that.

      Think a heat/ice pack would help at all?

        Ice would. Never heat. You want to reduce inflammation. Do the ibuprofen per bouncer, ice it, and take a week off. Spend some time with the family.

            What are you on? sometimes water retention can create carpel tunnel. It happens to pregnant woman all the time and once they give birth and excess water goes away so does the carpel tunnel.

            And yes, take some motrin.

                  Like jack tors said. Test E and masteron won't cause that. If you were on deca I'd say maybe but you are not.

                    Could be a variety of things from tendinitis to an actual injury. Without it being looked at or a more complete description of symptoms its hard to evaluate. However, as is often the case with AAS, you can lift more, your muscles can recover more, and you can get stronger than your connective tissue can compensate for in a very short time. You need to listen to your body, take some time off to evaluate the significance of the injury, and treat it accordingly. Based on what you're saying, anti-inflammatories--no more than 3200 mg in a 24 hour period, increase hydration, some ice therapy and rest will do wonders IMHO. If you are really worried about rest, do legs twice;)

                      ALright, good to know.
                      It goes from 1 to maybe a 5 whenever I move it in certain positions... Isn't that painful but I didn't want to make it worst.

                          in that case if it were me i'd double up on advil and work through it. reduce the volume of your workout less sets and reps and lower weights. def. avoid arm workouts for a couple weeks or anything that will directly inflame the injury.

                            Getting a bit better. Advil is certainly helping :weights:
