  • Cutting after long bulk.

Well after bulking for what seems like forever, I'm tackling my first ever cut. There's a lot of psychological shit that, while I expected, I find disarming. Just finished a cyp and Deca cycle which I loved. It was the first time I'd used anything other than test. The deca gave my muscles incredible hardness. Now I'm off and have changed up my diet. 5000 cals a day to 3000-3500 taken carbs down to 100 g a day. Protein is constant at 350-400 g a day. In a month of cutting I've gone from 303 lbs to 282 lbs. it's been a long time since my chest has stuck out further than my waist! However the constant fear that Im losing muscle is making me a little crazy. How do you guys deal? Like I said, it's my first cut ever. I'm seeing great results. My guts gone, and veins are popping out in amazing places. It's a rush and I'm paranoid at the same time.

Isn't that enough motivation? You can't tell me you look good with your shirt off at 300 or even at 282 lbs. I really don't "bulk" anymore but when I did I never lost my abs. Sure the bottom abs weren't popping out like they do when I'm cutting but they were still visible. Once you start seeing abs and striations in muscles you never knew you had I guarantee you will never bulk again.

Post some before and after pics. I would love to see the progress you make. How lean are you looking to get?

This is all the motivation you need bro. Be honest with yourself. If you were ripped and looked amazing you wouldn't be ashamed of posting a pic from the front in your avatar. You post a pic of the back because the front is a mess. Harsh truth but a truth that you can change.

Lets be real, you like "looking big" in the gym with your clothes ON but you have forgotten the most important thing... It's how you look when the clothes come OFF!! That is what it's all about.

Don't fall into the "permabulker" mentality. If you can't take your shirt off and look amazing then what the hell is the point? It's like going to work and not getting paid for it..

It's the whole "i look smaller in clothes" routine that fucks these permabulkers up mentally. gotta get passed that. looking big in clothes while having a gut, fat droopy tits, and love handles is meaningless.

            Point taken

Thanks for the good advice everyone. And yes Bouncer, you hit the nail on the head with my avatar.. I've always been very self conscious about my body, thus the foray into bodybuilding. I'll make a commitment to post pics when I'm done with this cut.
