  • Incline bench work today

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZQt...e_gdata_player

Honestly a tad dissapointed and think the deadlift took a little outa my usual snap.

Exactly as planned thats my strength phase done now. From tommorrow I start higher reps with lots more squeezing the muscles I'm working along with regular cardio.

Thanks lipripper, I'm none too shabby in the strength department but I only train that way for a phase. I'm back to ten or so reps per set now and focussing on the squeeze.

Talking of strength, when BigScott was on here that mofo would incline what I just did for ten reps lol

I think different angle slopes will hit the muscles at different angles and therefore produce different strength and hypertrophic effects on the muscles involved. Correct or wrong?

Yes, and everyone is anatomically different so what works way for one won't for another

Old school squats is a good example of this. I did them for years because everyone said they are the "meat and potatoes" of a leg workout. They never felt right to me even with light weight. Finally started using my head and listening to my body. Switched to just leg press and hack squat machine and my legs look a million times better.

I read in some magazine that, each time you exercise, you temporarily alter the hormonal environment inside your body. The more effort you put into something (intensity) the more Growth Hormone will be secreted, doing low intensity will release little to none at all.
