  • Cryo-therapy or ice bath ?

    Let me start by saying Im 38, Lift weights about 5 days a week, MMA training 3-5 days and generally beat my body up all them time. I dont sit on the couch much. That being said I am constantly hurting all over so icing a specific area is almost impossible. Does anyone have experience with either? Is one more effective than the other? I have got to figure something out. Eating Ibuprofen all the time is gonna kill me

    Have you tried the most obvious? Taking a week or 2 break from all physical activity?

    During that break take a couple zzz-quils to really knock you out and get in that deep sleep repair phase.

      I do rest a couple of weeks a few times a year. I did take a week off about a month ago.

        You could try running TB-500 (Thymosin Beta 4). I'm half way through running TB-500 and have noticed some improvements in certain areas. Certain areas I have noticed nothing but it has given me some relief already for sure.

          GREAT tip! This is the answer a lot of the time in veteran athletes.
          We tend to push our bodies all out for extended periods with not enough rest and recovery time.
