Damn mijo. Been there. Definitely not a good place to be in because it prohibits you from doing a lot of motions that are involved with many exercises that arent just in your chest routine. Well thats how it was for me at least but then again I did not rip my upper pec, exactly. I tore my upper pectoral connector tendon ( a couple times ). Dropped a little bit too far past 90` on 120 DB press and knew right away since everything went numb on my right shoulder and had to drop the weight. This was the first time so Thought nothing of it since i had no pain so I jumped on decline to go light and at least finish my work out. NOPE. lucky it wasnt my usual 3 am sesh I was doing when I first injured myself and it was 5 am and there were a few people in the gym cause I would have been chillin there with 135 decline bench sittin on my nips until someone decided to cruise on in and help me out.
I dont need to tell you that when you get to that part or any part of your body for that matter its better to just cruise and take things extra easy. rotate ice and heat of course. If i were you I would switch to light cable exercises to have those extra supportive muscles come into play if you decide to keep pushing that chest.
But for sure get some rest for at least the rest of the week. Get your mind right cause it will fcuk with your head.
Eat your frijoles mijo. They have the good protein and drink a esprite. cures everything
Hope it works out brotha

315 is certainly heavy.
Its easy to become complacent and very very hard, afyer starting a workout and phsyching yourself up, to back off when you feel tightness that isn't resolving with warm up. It can be as simple as you are dehydrated or you slept cramped on one shoulder and so on.
I've posted some quite heavy lifting vids on here but I certainly don't lift heavy all the time.
Bouncer is certainly a good example of a good maintainable physique that minimises risks and maximises consistency

And Mr I, how do you know?
I wouldn't come to any conclusion without seeing a doctor and getting an MRI.

She wants to do an MRI on Monday because it is too swollen right now to find out if it is a torn pec or a rotator cuff issue.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostHow did it go?
She thinks it's the cuff because of the way I can only move my arm.
Right now I have these patches on it and feels great...I get blood work done Monday and will know how I'm doing with the cycle.
