no you dont. its the same reason that whenever someone posts a pic they take it after an upperbody workout. nobody ever trains legs and then posts a delt pic. stop bullshitting yourself. pump makes us all look far more impressive.

I definitely see your points and agree to some extent. But for 5 years we did it in a garage for strongman. and it was the best and I probably put on more muscle there and with those workouts than all my years training in a commercial gym for bodybuilding. My schedule is so crazy between 3 jobs, a 6 year old that does 4 activities weekly along with all the other homeowner stuff you all have as well. it will be nice to just go out and hit something in the garage vs packing up and heading to the gym. I definitely will think harder about this, but we will see.

I take pics before I'm at the gym, so again I disagree. My body for the most part is always nice and tight; pumped. But honestly it doesn't matter what i say. You're gonna come up with some fucking analogy or some sort of "life experience" as to why your statement is factual.

But you know what makes us look far more impressive? A fucking grown ass man who walks with confidence and is looking good. All this banter is meaningless. Everyone here has a different physique, etc....between xfit and the gym, I'm pretty fucking beat most of the time man.

I've never been a person who shows off at the gym or needs to show off physique. My physique shows well with a tshirt and shirts.

Exactly, I think it is more impressive, if you're going to show off, that people acknowledge that you lift or look good in just a tshirt over a tank.

If you walk into a room or a place, your confidence will show. Regardless of pump, clothing, lifting, etc...others can tell when someone's confident or just being cocky. When I see people at the gym being like that; tank tops or trying to show off etc...for starters, I laugh inside my head about it.

We shouldn't depend on what others perceive of us; although it's nice to have a positive opinion from someone.

hey I wear tank top all the time. it has nothing to do with showing off. it has to do with i am hot. I wear shorts flip flops and Tshirts everyday
95% of the time it is shirt with no sleeves and 5% it is tank top. I only wear reg shirt when I "dress up" lol
you lil guys might not get it but a 2XL shirt fits me tight specially in the arms. the shirts i wear are 100% ring spun cotton the just sit on you and show what you have anyways. tank top has nothing to do with showing off UNLESS your a lil guy and can't fill a XL shirt lol

I hate leg day for that reason. If I don't look my best I don't want people seeing me. I struggle with this. I would have to say I am very confident in all aspects of my life except for my physique. It can be good because I know I won't ever let myself go but I will never be happy with they way I look either.

I actually like leg day. Ever since Rocket advised me to start doing hack squats instead of traditional squats my knees have been top notch and leg day is now my favorite day because of it.

I try to understand this with others I also know. Why are you so negative on how you look or why not have more confidence? It's an honest question though.

Bro, it's not like you look like shit. You look great even while being off; you looked healthy and athletic. I guess for me confidence and a bit of arrogance, is something I've always had in me. As the years have gone, my arrogance has diminished a bit while the confidence has soared higher.

That's what blows my mind. Guys on here with bigger and better physiques than me me but far more insecure with their physical appearance. Perspective of oneself is a crazy thing. Though I do understand it to a degree. We all strive to be better versions of ourselves. I'll be 40 next year and though I'm not the biggest and baddest dude in town, I'm certainly in better health and shape than three majority of my 40 something counterparts.

Goes to show how the mind plays a HUGE role in how we think, act or live our lives ED.

I'm the same way. I like leg day and when I'm doing legs all I look at is my legs and the pump associated. Why even look at my upper body? Works the same in reverse. When I'm doing upper body I don't look down at my legs. It wouldn't make much sense. I tend to ignore everything I'm not focususing on that day and it isn't difficult for me to do.

Well your lil guy problems don't apply to me yesterday after legs I did a weird new leg routine but that's for another day got to test it again next week. Anyways after legs I was wobbling out of gym a gym buddy stops me and saying fuck dude your getting huge did you do anything different lol I laughed inside and told myself that needing a upper body pump is lil guy problems. Lmao but the 2 guys I work out with did traps between sets of calfs that made me laugh to

Side note I wore a tank top on leg day but had long basketball type shorts on

That brings me to a question I wear basketball type shorts always when working out
My buddy wear more of a MMA/ board short
                                What do you guys wear
The girls all wear tights all of them that's awesome cuz there's some bad bitches in there
