    He was the real deal in squat, very aggressive, big ego but dud the business. But his bench and deadlift were way off.

    Steve Goggins was a much more complete powerlifter and first to squat 1100 raw

        ^ as you know, holding the weight at the top after the lift basically programs the muscle and skeletal memory.

        Hence why many lifters want to hold it for a while. Especially the case on deadlift
