Hey Rado. This is what happened to Levrone when he benched 405lbs 12 weeks out.

I have no problem with old timers putting up weight, however your body can't deal with the repercussions like it used to. Kevin Levrone put up 405lbs 8 weeks out and tore his pec again.

This once again brings me to my point of at that age you shouldn't be putting that type of weight up. 365 or 385 for a good pump and pause sets will cause just as much growth and stimulation.

Props for getting back to it and training, however there is no reason to go that hard. You're just asking for another injury. All other takes is one small mistake and boom, it's all over. The man lots 2" of his height because of his back surgeries. I guess some people never learn

Total of 280 plus half his bodyweight. Your saying there is no issue with compression of the spine for a guy with how many surgeries and screws in his spine. Your saying Ronnie's spine specialist and surgeon would take a look at that video and say "perfectly fine no strain to spine"?

BUT at 52, retired, and after something like 10 back surgeries what's the point?

I'm not suggesting he gives up and quits the gym. I'm suggesting he put down the 140's and pick up the 75's for shrugs. I'm suggesting he doesn't make his quality of life much much worse for the next 20 years by trying to train like he did 10 years ago.
He has no point or anything to prove. He's programmed himself or is truly this way, hard-core.

Some people bro are just going to keep at it regardless of the situation or consequences, that my friend is passion to it's finest

Look at some of the craziest motherfuckers that have done other sports and have been as insane as Ronnie is.

I'm not saying your absolutely wrong Mr I but how can there not be any strain on spine there? Doesn't make sense to me. Spine might be straight but there is still downward compression.
