  • 1 rep max for bench

    I never done a One rep max bench, but yesterday I benched 120kilos/262 lbs for 4 reps... I had a couple of more in the tank, but I didn't want to risk it... Did a calculation at it would put me at almost 300pounds more a One max...Not bad for 180ish pounds bodyweight...

    Anyways I like to hear other's number

      I rep 315lbs for 8...use to do 10 but afraid now due to torn pec from previous lift.

      My max is right at 405lbs now....bw as of this morning 193lbs

        Critical Bench website is spot on for 1 max rep charts they have....

                Alright so with the critical bench it would have me at 313lbs.. hell yea I feel better now... Going to add 10 more pounds next week... depending how pissed off I am:)

                    I've used that site for a very long ass time and I gotta tell you, it's fucking pretty spot on for 1 max rep calculation

                          I bench power lifter style.. arch back , retracting the scapula and feet behind the bench, but I can never get a strong arch...Not flexible enuff

                              335lbs x 2 @ 205 I was taking Test And anadrol, that's when I was into powerlifting. I don't lift heavy anymore, I enjoy high reps and getting a nice tight pump.

                              Deadlift 465 x 2
                              Squats 475 x 3
                              Same bw.
