  • Routine of Push and Pull(myth or reality)

This is a routine that consist of push and pull work outs that's incorporated in my training. My question is does anyone know if it's more beneficial to train these particular muscle groups on the same day? It consist of "push movements" like for instance doing chest and triceps or shoulders and triceps on the same day. And "pull movements" like back and biceps on the same day.

I used this method for years. Just lately I've changed to Chest,Bi and Back, Tri

It really made a differance in the way feel. I was sore like I haven't been in years. I think it may just be the change.

I'll go back to the old way in a few months and see how it goes.

I do not know if it is more beneficial, but it is hard to train chest without using triceps and hard to train back without using biceps. Since they are already partially exhausted, it makes some sense to complete the workout by exhausting them fully.
