I have been lifting heavy mostly and light occassionally for a couple of years. I have hit a massive plateau. I am 27 and have been 260# with the same measurements for about 4 years now.
Lifting heavy always gets me sore but I swear there is NO GROWTH from all the pain I have endured. I have noticed that I don't ever really get a full pump though when I lift heavy.
What do you think about this? Is it possible to grow even though you get sore but don't get a good pump?
I'm seriously considering going to a lighter workout and squeezing out reps till I can't move anymore because there is so much blood in the muscle. I may try this for a couple of months and see what the results look like.
