well bro, maybe you built some good quality muscle, but lost some fat. Dont worry. Your legs will catch up. They just have to. Make sure you do a lot of failure sets. Your legs need that in order to grow. PEACE! KIR

I saw my biggest gains after a 3 month period with a personal trainer. I never left the gym without suffering from throwing up, or having dry heaves. If you're walking out of the gym without experiencing pain, you're not training hard enough... to see significant size increases anyways.

Here is my way of knowing. Besides the throwing up from total exhausting.

After leg workouts, it seems my whole body wants to just flush out. Probably from me bringing in all my strength to move around the weights needed through the entire workout. Anyway.... I get home to shower.... Let the water run for a minute or two...... sit down to take a SHIT...... then I know I hit legs hard when it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to get back up without resting my forearms on the sink next to me in order to use my upper body to get up. LMAOOOOO Damn I hate that. LOL PEACE! KIR

My legs won't grow either. Typically I do 5 sets squats, 5 sets presses, 5 sets extensions and 5 sets curls. Usually 10 reps each set and from #8 up it's a struggle to finish. Plus, I never rest for more than 1 minute between sets. And when I'm through my legs a so shaky I can't get up the stairs very well, and like KIR said it's hard to get off the commode or just to stand up out of a chair. I've tried doing this before twice weekly and get some growth, but not as much as I put into it. Once a week does just as much. I get strong as hell and have a lot of stamina, but not the growth I'd expect with the work I do. BB

EAT MORE !! Also ass to the grass squats....HEAVY. My legs have always been strong as hell, but lacked any size. I`ve tried everything,I used to powerlift so I always squatted paralell or slightly below. Now I go to the floor with heavy weights, pyramiding up, and decreasing reps as I go. After I hit my 6th set, I come back down to a killer high rep set, shooting for 20 reps,or failure, whichever comes first.you should literally hobble out of the gym after every leg day. But like I said ,if you`re not gaining, chances are you need to bump up calories and protein. Train hard !!

Can uou give some legs training pointers for a newbie? My legs are quite weak so I don't really know where to start...

As for arms I've started with dumbbell curls and hammer curls... is that enough for a start?
