    hey,

if i look in the mirror my left side is more developed than my right side slightly; however, in the gym my right side is stronger than my left side. i am right handed.

how can i correct this as i dont want it to become more noticable.

doesn't really help, my left arm fatigues faster than my right. so what i was hoping to est. was maybe a few extra right arm exercises to speed up the developement

i have the same problem, except my arm strength is pretty much equal. for the first time in years, i did decline chest press and boy did i feel it. i always kinda left them outta my routine... until i read a post on here the previous day about decline and goo dthe guys pump was. i forget the thread and who posted it, but i said what the hey and did them... i'm gonna throw them in my routine now for a while and see if that helps even them out a bit. other than that, try an iso-lateral press machine if your gym has them and focus on your weaker developed side. did you play sports when you were you younger and if so which ones? My left bicep is shaped differently and is smaller than my right bicep but my left bicep is stronger than my right. My chest is also unevenly developed. I attribute some of it to permanent tendon and ligament change in my shoulder girdle from sports activity as I was growing up. my right pectoral has a hard time achieving a good contraction on any bi-lateral exercise movement. I have to use a crossover machine to really feel the contraction. I don't think there is much you can do to change the way you are built unless you are really training improperly, it will be something you just need to live with and train around.

Check out my post on the thread "lagging shoulder", it is the same reason. This is a difficult issue to solve, you may want to try some single arm movements on the pec deck / fly machine.

my left pec is fuller and thicker in the middle than my right, im also right handed.. dunno why never noticed one side or the other lag while doing db press or anything.. guess it's just the genetics i was born with :p

same hear, basically whole left side is fuller and stronger but I am also right handed. I've tried dumbbells, cables and unilateral machines and nothing helps so I just deal with it and try to focus on an equal contaction from both sides and making sure I am lined up evenly on my excercises.

I know that our muscles "cross over" with relation to scapula areas to arms because when I was younger, I had a surgery there. I had a tumor removed from my left scapular area and needed microsurgery done there, as it was deeply impacted.
When I came to 4-1/2 hours later, the 1st thing that the surgeon asked me to do was to wiggle the fingers on my right hand. WTF?!? At first I thought they removed my arm/hand or something by accident and put it back then, lol. [Like the old joke: I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that we cut off your right arm. The good news is that the left one is getting better.]

It turns out that they had to sever much of the connective tissues to get at the tumor and they were worried that they might have missed reconnecting some in the repair portion of the surgery, resulting in a loss of motion to my right hand. So there may be some validity in the statements made above due to physiological reasons.

I too have a chest development problem that I believe is a result from similar problem above. The difference is that I also had a very large abdominal incision (2x so far) that travels from 4 inches below navel to just below tip of my sternum. I have a lot of touble gaining mass in inner pecs region, as I can tap sternum with finger hit just skin and bone there. No muscle to cover area it seems. I'v tried inner pec isolation movements but can't seem to close the "gap", so to speak. I can clearly see where the inner portions of my pecs trail off. It may be a genetic thing but I believe that the surgeries had more to do with it than that. It's driving me nuts, as I want to fill out my chest symmetrically but can't seem to find the solution. You'll see my dilemma in my pics in the upcoming transformation contest.
