  • Laggin Shoulder....solutions?

My left front delt is larger then my right front delt. I am right handed. I can't figure out what the problem is.

Should I just try and not worry about it

    or

Work my right one just a little bit on an off day.

Maybe just a couple of sets of one arm presses and some front raises.

Have you historically used dumbbells for military of the bar? If you haven't used the bar you should switch to it, that way you will get more even distribution, altenatively you can used the smith machine and concentrate on you right side, this works. These reason you left is bigger is that the tendons/right arm on the right side are stronger because you are right handed, so less muscle is need for the same amount of work. I am right handed and my left pec is bigger than my right, same reason.

      Thanks thor.

I have just used db until like 2 months ago I started doing behind the neck on a smith machine. I can tell there is some improvement but it just pisses me off. Do you think if I start doing the free bar for presses and just drop db's for a while then that would be better?

I would drop the dumbbells for a while. It is good to mix it up anyway. Be careful going too heavy with the behind the neck on the Smith, it is an exercise that it is easy to get injured on. Do some front Smith presses and free bar both front and back and you should see some improvement.

i had the exact same thing, left front was larger than right front because i only ever did barbell militaries, i switched to DB's and now the right one is up with the left
