Hope that helps. Im not a DR but just from personal experience thought that might be helpful. I did start out taking some of my friends Nolvadex and was getting some relief from it but stopped because the replies on Steroidology all told me not to do that. The fact that the Nolvadex was helping was another reason that I thought mine were related to hormones. Dallasdoll

WOW. Thanks so much for that read. And here when my husband said it was cause of the hormones, I thought he was cracked in the head.
The people at 'ology are right- you really shouldn't be taking Nolvadex for the migraines. It's way too sensitive on a woman's body and should not be taken for more than 6 weeks.
Thanks again, and I'll keep everyone posted. Again, the freakiest thing about this is the blind spots or wavy lines in my vision. The fact that it's always followed by headache, makes me about 99% sure its a migraine. I guess the reason I thought it was something else is because when I took Depot Lupron for endometriosis, they didn't onset like that. They wer straight up just a miserable headache.

Funny you asked. I went to the doc this morning. I told her what was going on, and she suggested I go to a neurologist 1st, and then an opthamologist. She thinks it is in fact a migraine, but wants to make sure I don't have any clotting problems in the brain and said to start taking 1 baby aspirin a day. She asked if I was taking the pill, and i said no....She said that hormones can make it worse. ( Which makes sense)!Originally posted by Dallasdoll
any update on how the headaches are? Mine are finally subsiding. Chelsea
I go to see the neurologist on the 27th. I'll be getting some kind of brain scan. That will put my mind at ease for sure!! LOL. I'll keep you posted!

I had the scan and had my eyes checked and I was fine as Im sure you will be. I think we both had the same reaction post cycle to the primo or anavar or the combination of the two. Keep up posted. Hopefully yours will start to subside soon. Im now about 4 to 5 weeks post cycle and am only having like 1 headache every few days now which is a major improvement. Chelsea

A tumor would cause a great deal of pressure under your eyes, they would feel like they were about to bulge out of your head.Originally posted by sana
i'm sorry to be as morbid as you but from what i've read - and i'm a huge hypochondriac so don't take my word for it - weird blindspots in your vision usually relate to optic tumors.
BUT - i am again usually wrong on stuff like this and it might just be low blood sugar or something. maybe you're anemic.

I know I'm in the wrong area but this thread caught my attention. Migraine symptoms all the way. I've only had 3 in my whole life but I remember the first time...whew! I lost my vision in my right eye and didn't know what the hell was goin on. The other 2 times was the blurred vision (tunnel vision) and noise and light sensitivity. Symptoms vary.

>I start getting blind spots in my primary vision for about 20 minutes...then it moves to my peripheral for another 10, and then I get a headache...
Classic migraine spasms. Bright shimmering wavy lines are typical too. I get them once in a blue moon (I've had maybe 10 in my life). Can be triggered/exacerbated by substances/foods. I don't know if AAS is a trigger. Anyway you are lucky the headaches are not debilitating or very long lasting - with migraines, sometimes they are. Good luck, parsnip1965
