  • Men and women???

OK firstly i've been trying to get my girl onto this board but shes hesitant... something bout her not fitting in(i think its so lame ass excuse) either way her and I were talking bout my past gear exp and well a few q's from her came up that I had no idea on how to answer

Firstly, if a woman is not on gear is her recovery time longer than that of a man, since she lacks the normal test level that a man does???

second, does gear for a woman ruin hurt or destroy her chances for preg later in life, there have been many debates as for if this is true for women but i had no idea what to tell her

finally, when a girl gets off gear does her body take a while to get into propper hormone balance, or does it not take as long since they dont worry bout test production like we do??

thanks for the help i'm trying to help her to the next level and gettin her into this board

    1. What do you mean by recovery? As in muscle recovery after training? If she weren't on gear, she'd recover more slowly than if she were. It's the same for both men and women - on vs. off.

    2. There have been no studies nor consensus on the effects of AAS on fertility. We will unfortunately not have a firm answer for you. It is one of those risks that she has to consider when she heads down the path to considering gear. And obviously, less androgenic the chemical though, the lower the likelihood of virilization.

    3. It may take her a while for her estrogen levels to return to normal since you have introduced another horomone into her system. But she will not need PCT nor will she need to "ramp down" when she stops.

Remember - GEAR IS NOT USED TO LOSE WEIGHT OR FAT. Please help her understand that AAS is used to build muscle, and only if this is her main and ultimate goal (to build muscle after having reached a plateau) then should AAS be an avenue she should explore.

She should spend a couple of months researching the use for women.

If she's wanting to use geer for herself she really needs to be the one involved in joining the boards and doing the research herself. It's fine for you to help do some initial inquiries, but she needs to be the one looking into this stuff...it's her body and her body will react quite differently than yours. Do not go by what you see in men's forums if you're looking for info for a woman.

She will fit in just fine. Tell her that all of us women were newbies at one time so we understand where she's coming from! :)

yah i think she's got that stigma where she thinks that she'll look super manly and what not, but i told her a lot of fitness competitors do it as well as many collegiate athletes, no wait they dont just like MLB players dont either right :)
