  • Re: Anabolics for Women

I have checked the archives, but I am having a difficult time finding out information for Oxandrovet tabs, 5mg (formula-Oxandrolone). One thread had it listed as AAS. I read the thread and the information sounds great, but is this the same as Oxandrovet? I have a friend that is an IFBB pro and he said that if my girlfriend wanted to do a cycle that this was good with less side-effects than if she tried other types of "gear." A little background on her is that she has done a few bodybuilding shows (all natural) about five years ago and has kept up on her workouts. She is 5'4" 138lbs. and about 18% bodyfat. Her "off season" body fat was 13-15% prior to her breast augmentation (1/04). Now, her body fat is up and she has lost nearly 40% on her upper body strength.

Flat out, this is the deal, she wants to go for a cycle and I want to order the 'gear' that will give her the best results and help her get her strength back. Any suggestions.

    Thank you,

    DS-COUSIN

Its late so I will answer this in better detail tomorrow, but to assure you of the product, either denkall or quality vet, anavar is dosed correctly and quite effective

Thank you. The Anavar (QV) is what is on my list and also listed as Oxandrovet Tabs.

I will wait your reply for greater detail.

      Thanks again,

Please do a more detailed search. There is a TON of information in the female anabolic forum about anavar.

And yes, anavar should be the first choice, but - it is meant to build muscle as all AAS. Please don't let her think that it is the magic tool to help her regain her previous bf% levels. That can only be achieved through diet - which if she's done shows before, she should know.

          Mrs. MOD,

I appreciate the information. She is not looking at getting the her BF% back from 'gear,' but some of her strength and mass.

DO you know if anavar affects birht-control? Thanks..

i hope you weren't being facetious with this comment.

AAS should not effect her BC, but if she wants to look hard and lean then removing any additional estrogen/progesterone sources would be good.

i'm moving this into the ladies forum.

So, is she ready to come to the dark side??? LOL.

Anyway, the loss in strength is 100% due to her breast augmentation. Anavar is a great choice. It's expensive, but it's very mild; especially on a woman. Little is needed to make decent gains. I would start her out at 5mgs for about 2 weeks, then MAYBE up it to 10mgs/day for 4 weeks, then back down to 5mgs for another 2 weeks... for a nice 8 week cycle. The Var will also help her recovery as well.

BUT- diet has to be in check. If she wants to see good lean muscle gains, SHE must eat enough calories, with the right foods.

Yes, she is ready to come to the dark-side. I appreciate your information. One other thing about her beginning her 'journey,' which is that she is using birth control (the ring) and she is curious and SO AM I about it effecting its effectiveness. Will Anv. disrupt the work of her birth control?

Also, thanks for the quick response to my questions. She means the world to me and I want her to be safe if she is going to enter into this world. (Did I lose my manhood with that comment).

You don't loose your manhood. But you do need to encourage her to get on here and read up herself, so she understands herself. Then if still more questions arise. She should feel free to ask.

I agree about her getting up on the site herself, but she is computer challenged and has a difficult time opening attachments to emails let alone navigating websites. I've tried to show her, but she is apprehensive about asking questions. I will work on her though. Thanks.

I this is an old post, BUT I thought I'd go back to the beginning. My lady started Anavar (QV) two weeks ago. 2.5 mgs per day for the first week, NOW 5mgs per day. She is feeling a little more aggresive on the second week and is starting to feel pumped. THe original advice was to have her start at 5 mgs and then move to 10 mgs, but her aggression, sex drive, and results don't constitute and increase in dosage. Her diet is in check and she is staying focused. Like she said, "you have to love egg beaters, oatmeal, tuna, chicken, veggies, and no FUN FOOD." (she's so cute).

My question now returns to her cycle time. I was thinking 6 weeks should be enough, because she just wanted a little boost to get her over the hump. Do you think she should just stay on for 8 weeks?

Secondly, what if any type of PCT should she be doing?

                      Thanks,

                      DS

Scratch the last question about PCT..found what I was looking for in a thread labeled, "cycle recovery."
