It went well. It just felt a little weird having like 2 strange women and a man fondle and mark and measure me. LOL.
I went ahead and scheduled it for Oct. 8th. But I still have another consult to go to next week.
I really liked the 1st Dr. I decided on saline under the muscle. I told him my serious concerns about detaching from the muscle, etc. And he said there is a new technique called bi-planar incision that he does on other BBers. The incision is under the breats, and he lifts the breast tissue, and cuts about 4cm of the muscel away from the 5th rib. He said it has little or no effect on muscle strength and performance. I told him I lift really heavy, and he said that would help my scar tissue, and make capsular contracture less possible. Over the muscle has a 40% higher chance of contracture.
But the main reason I decided to go under is because of health reasons. My maternal grandmother had breast cancer, so I am at higher risk. If I would go over, it would be much more difficult to feel any possible lumps because all I would be able to feel would be the bag.
Thanks for asking!
