  • MORNING SICKNESS!!!

I'm so sick of not feeling well, this isn't as bad as my 1st pregnancy, but I always feel like I have knots in my stomach. I ahven't been able to go to the gym in like a week, I just feel so bad. I'm just totally down. I was so excited to be pregnant and now I'm just dreading this day by day.

Just had to tell you all this. :( DG

    awwwwwwww dreamgirl, you poor thing....:(

I got some nausea tablets from my Gynocolgist (ones that you can take when you're pregnant) and they really helped me. I was green for about 6 months. I got told all sorts of things would take the nausea away by different women, you know how pregnancy stories are?

Flat Coca Cola seems to settle the stomach.....it helped me a bit, but also morning sickness nausea seems to differ from day to day, how far are you?

Don't be in a rush to go to the gym, your body is just adjusting to having a baby inside. Just listen to your body, nobody knows it better than you.

BTW I am so excited for you!!! I have 2 girls and I guess they are big enough noww for me to have forgotten all the nausea and sleepless nights, so when I see pregnant tummies or newborns I get so broody.

Keep us updated, I'd love to hear how you are doing....

i've noticed that brown pop helps... but I don't want to drink a lot of it because it's not the greatest thing to be ingesting. Girls, really be prepared for this... sometimes I feel like this is a secret that women don't really share with eachother... morning sickness sucks!

My OB/GYN told me that the morning sickness was caused by hormonal changes and that it's a good sign...something about it showing that it's a strong pregnancy and less likely for something to go wrong. I didn't get morning sickness, but I did get it in the afternoon. It was gone around the 5th month. Salty stuff used to help me the most...a couple of saltine crackers were best for me.

Good luck, hun! Lots of icky stuff to deal with when you're pregnant, but as you know, it's ALL WORTH IT!!! :baby:

thank you lax... today I'm doing better... this time around I know 4 women pregnant and they are ALL having boys... I think we might find out this pregnancy, last time it was a girl and my daughter wants a sister so bad! it doesn't matter this time around to me. I'm still not showing, but when I do I'll post some pics.

I feel for ya DG! I've been there twice now. Morning sickness sucks. I used to leave crackers by my bed and eat them in the morning before I even got up out of bed. It helped settle my stomach alittle anyway. Don't let it get ya down. Likes Mrs.P said. It's hormones and it is a good sign that all is going well. Good luck girl! ;)

you can't take anything except tylenol when you are pregnant... most medications are off-limits because they get passed through the placenta and get ingested by the baby. You can't drink more than 100mg's of caffeine a day, that's about 1 cup of coffee... a coffee from a coffee-shop is like over 200mgs of caffeine. headaches are the worst, tylenol is like eating candy, sometimes I don't think it does anything :(

I'm sorry to hear you've hit the m/s stages of pregnancy - I really hope it doesn't last that long! I just reached 5-1/2 months today and I'm at the I feel completely unattractive stage! I don't even want my husband to see me naked!

Hope time flies for you like it has for me!

Other than the m/s how are you doing? All going well I hope. I have another sono this Thursday! I'm very excited to see the little bugger again! He's a very active baby!

Crystal...I think the stage your at now is sooo cute! It's obvious that you've got a little person growing inside you yet you're not huge yet. Try not to let it get you down...enjoy the temporary roundness you've got going there!

thanks crystal and mrs. p... I've been out flu sick for the last 2 days, I probably shouldn't be here at work, I'm just going to stay as long as I can. I think if I make it till 3pm I'm going home. I just don't want to push it.
