  • Clen and Pregnancy

I had been taking Ventipulmin on cycles. I am looking to get pregnant and have been off for awhile (sometimes using ECA) Does anyone know if the use of clen in the past may cause complications in getting pregnant? Thanks....

I've never heard anything about it causing conception problems, however heart damage is common with repeated use.

It's pretty much the same thing as albuterol, try looking that up as a prescription med (it's used for asthma) and see if you come up with anything.

Btw, if you're trying to concieve, you shouldn't be using ECA stacks either.

Good luck on the baby making! :)

Thanks Puddles - out of curiosity, what heart complications are known to be associated with clen? I used it off and on for quite awhile. (a year and a half) Is there anything that my doc should be checking?
I am an asthmatic and funny thing was is that it made my asthma disappear!!!!
BTW - I am off ECA as well....thanks for the luck....

While you're taking clen you may experience heart palpitations and high blood pressure. It can also cause enlargement of the heart, I guess it depends on how much and how long you use it. It has more risks than benefits IMO.

Here's a fact sheet (pdf format) about clen. Scroll down to the 2nd page and it'll go over some info in more detail than I can explain.
