NO. Serostim this time....Jintropin the last.
She really misses the Jintropin days. LOL.
However, she has taken the Serostim the time prior to last with the Jin, and doesn't remember this sort of thing happening;)Last edited by redsquirrel; 05-02-05, 09:49 PM.

Genotropin or Serostim. I don't know which. (Don't ask why.)

2ND Ive used Serostim for many years before I started using JIN'S and got good results from it ...
The only problem I saw with Serostim at the time I was taking it was that there was a lot of fakes running around out there ....Im sure JINS has the same problem by now ....Last edited by INTIMID8OR; 05-03-05, 12:07 PM.

AS long as its not to late she'll be just fine ....Keep us posted on her results .....good thread...Originally posted by redsquirrel
Update: the water retention was superficial....pretty much back to normal this AM.
She was also wondering if she will see better results taking it in the AM, vs. 2 hrs before bedtime??

Well, she is into her 2nd week w/ the GH....and boy does she sleep well! So good, that she's gotten up about 10 min late for work everyday this week....
If she took it in the AM, would she have an easier time getting out of bed?
She is also taking Ephedra and a fat burner to help lean up even more.
Here is her diet:
M1- 2 whole eggs, 4 whites
1/2 grapefruit
M2- Shake ( 40 gms protein)
M3- 5 oz Chicken
2c veggies
M4- same as 2
M5- same as 3
* Tuesday and Friday her last meal is replaced by:
4oz sweet potato
1 med. banana
1/2 c. oatmeal
1c. veggies
She is doing 30 min of cardio a day 6 times a week. She is also supplementing that with 3-4 15 minute sessions before bed.
Her diet looks great to me. She is wanting to gain a little LBM, buit her main objective is to lose the fat. She has lost 2 lbs already this week, and will check her BF on Saturday. She still wants to lose about 8 more lbs in the next month.

Well, she is into her 3rd week now..... she really is getting impatient....LOL. She hasn't noticed much fat loss, however the scale has dropped about 3 lbs.
She started running about 4 days a week, about 2 miles each run. Her husband told her her butt is getting smaller, but she's getting a bit frustrated as she is not so objective and not seeing anything.
She still wants to lose about another 7 lbs in the next 3 weeks...which is possible, I guess. The GH will probably start working it's magic in another week or so, but with the amount of cardio in combination with the GH and low cal diet, going on last week, she was sure she would see some reduction in BF this past week....but she didn't move. :(
Anyone have any thoughts?

Diet thoughts: Protein shakes-I would use casein proteins instead of whey protein.
Training thoughts: Is she doing and resistance training? Resistance training keeps your metabolism elevated for a lot longer than aerobic training. Also, is she doing any running in the morning before her first meal? I know that's not ideal in terms of preserving muscle but if she just wants to lose fat, it might be a good way to force your body to rely on other sources of energy than food you just ate. I also think maybe some extended cardio 1-2x/wk could be good. I'm a strong believer in longer cardio for just losing weight--deplete most glycogen in the first 30-45minutes, then your body has to turn to other sources for the additional time. Another idea would be mixing in intervals.
During my last cutting phase, I did some cardio sessions toward the end when I saw fat loss slowing integrating intervals with normal cardio. I warmed up, did intervals for about 20minutes and then cooled down. I felt the effects of this a lot better than a standard 30-35minute cardio session.

For the shakes, she's eating the Beverly Muscle Provider (whey, casein and egg protein combination)Originally posted by BBAddict

She is doing heavy resistance training 5 x week in addition to the cardio. 1 body part each day.
She isn't doing AM cardio. Like you said, she still wants to preserve some muscle. She thought that by doing cardio 6 times a week, and cardio another 3-4 times in the evening that would be enough. Total cardio per day is about 35-45 minutes. In the past, her body has responded well to 2/ a days. The main reason she doesn't want to do extended periods and AM sessions of cardio, is she is already on an extremely limited calorie diet. She isn't eating enough calories to barely sustain her activity now, so she doesn't want to risk too much muscle.;)

Well, it appears her efforts are starting to pay off a little bit. Her BF dropped 2 mm's since last week. However, the scale has not moved. In fact, it has actually gone up.....Mainly due to some water weight gain. She feels like a water buffalo.
She is into her 4th week starting today. She has definitely seen a great improvement in her skin. It's much smoother and seems a bit more taut than it was.
As for the BF loss, she's not sure what to attribute it to. She started running about 8-10 miles/wk, 3 weeks ago...the same time she started the GH. So, she's not sure if it's the cardio or the GH that helped w/ the BF loss. Either way, she will continue to do what she's doing. However, she was concerned that she may be overtraining, and not eating enough calories...which could contribute to why she's had a difficult time losing BF at the rate she thought she would.
She really hopes and needs to lose another 2% BF in the next 3 weeks. Hopefully the GH will kick in and help...
