  • Anavar and sides

My g/f is 27 y/o. She started her first cycle of anavar about a month ago. She took one a day for the first 2 weeks, then up to 2 a day for 2 weeks then 1 a day for 2 weeks. She's on her last week of 2 a day. She is late for her period. Right now she is 4 days late. Can she get a little feed back on what or when that will level out? What happens if she does miss a period? She said she had all the tell tell signs that she was going to start, then it never started. She knew that it could mess up your periods. Feed back please.

It varies from woman to woman. Some women have it just as they normally would when taking AAS. Others it takes a while to come back. It usually took mine at least a good month or so. When I did my comp last year, I had a very light one in June, and didn't get it back until September. It will come back in about a month or so.

Is birth control still effective while on AAS?

        More than likely not.

BTW- why didn't she and you learn about the sides and potential results BEFORE she got on cycle.

I mean, let's say hypathetically that she was taking test prop or something , and didn't do her research. Yet, she is 4 weeks into the cycle, and jsut NOW decides to look at the possible sides. She's just done 4 weeks of damage. What if I told you her period will never come back, and she won't be able to have kids because of it? This is not true of course, but what if?

It is IMPERATIVE each and every one of us knows the ins and outs and risks of everything we put into our bodies.
