  • How much protein in egg whites....

I've looked and searched but can only find how much protein is in the whole egg, not just the whites. Does anybody know? :dunno:

    Thanks!

I believe it is about 4 for a standard size egg and 5 for a an extra large egg.

AP, get an account set up at FitDay.com and you can plug in any food and it will likely come up with all the info you need. They listed a raw large egg white at 3.47g of protein.

Now, my box of 18 large eggs has 1 whole egg at 7 gms of protein.

That would be consistent with what was discussed here. I've always understood that it was about 4/white and 7/whole egg for large or x-large eggs.

              Large Grade A Eggs have 70 calories and 4/white - 6/whole protein

              Extra Large Grade A Eggs have 80 calories 5/white - 7/whole protein

How about we forget the eggs and just have pancakes for breakfast? ;)
