    I wanted to go on a low carb diet! I thought about doing 5 days of low carb diet and the weekends high carb. What is a good amount of carbs to stay under while on the low carb diet? I was thinking 50 grams or even as low as 30 grams! Any feedback.

    A true low carb diet to try and get into ketosis is 20g or less and it all comes from vegies. I think if your activity levels are high, then stick to 50g, if your activity levels are lower, then stick to 30g.

      I read in my nutrition textbook that anything less then 30-40 would put u in ketosis, but yea i guess it's all about activity levels also.
