  • New to EVERYTHING!

Hi, I am basically new to everything. I currently weigh 125lbs @ 5ft 2in, but I feel like I weigh 150lbs, no muscle definition. I need to tone up big time. My husband is very knowledgable when it comes to AS and I'm not. My problem is he's a MAN and knows nothing about my body. We have almost every book imaginable on AS because he does his reading before he puts anything in his body. Me, I prefer first hand knowledge considering most of those books refer to a man's physique rather than ours (If you could recommend any books that would be great). I was taking Clebuterol for a while, but I didn't see the results I wanted. Once I stopped taking them I gained everything back, which was only 2-3lbs anyways. I know my goals cannot be achieved in a day or even a month, but we are having our REAL wedding reception on October 2006, we eloped, and I want be hot. We also have another wedding in June 2006 that we need to attend. I want everyone at our wedding to be like "WOW, they look so good and fit" I know what I look like fit compared to now and let me tell you there's a difference!!!! I want my husband to see my body at its sexiest! I was thinking about taking Winstrol. Can someone please share with me their expierence. I know as a woman I would take a lower dosage than my husband, who stands 6 ft 6in at 250lbs. I need to know the benefits to taking it oral compared to other ways. :hmmm:

You need to do some research using the search button. If you do this, you will find that Winstrol would not be appropriate for you now. You have 8 months until your reception to get your nutrition, training and cardio on track. It does not sound like you will be ready to take Clen, Winstrol or any other AAS by then.

Please tell us what you eat, how many meals, quantities, timing, etc. and what your lifting and cardio program looks like. This would be the best place to start. Some of our more knowledgable members would be able to advice you on a program that is suitable for your goals.

    Good Luck!

I eat healthy. I drink tons of water, I have to or I get headaches. I usually will do 30-35 minutes of cardio at 4 or 5 am depending on how I feel. I have a a daughter who is almost 3 and my husband leaves for work at 6:30 am, so if I want to get my cardio in thats the best time. Then when I get back from my condo gym I have a protien shake, forget who makes it, but my husband picked it out at GNC. It took him almost an hour to choose the one he wanted- he read every single one. I'm not knocking him because I know I need to do my research, but I want to know other womens expierences. Anyways, after I get my daughter ready for school, which opens at 6:30 am and I have to be to work at 9am, I head to Gold's Gym here in Naples, FL. I designed a 6 week program, this is how much time I have at work to do this, which alternates every other day with arms and legs. I incorporated a 6-8 exercise focusing on every ab muscle. There is 1-2 excersies for each section of my abs, so I am consentrating on every aspect. After week 1 I go onto week 2 which is a completely different program targeting the same muscles, but with different exersies than the previous weeks. Each day I work my arms, I alternate between cables exercises and dumbells. I also started to do a cycling class 2-3 times a week, depending on when the class is and if it works with my schedule. See I change up my workout, which I just started this week. I know I'll be in shape in no time if I stick to it. I eat 5-6 small meals a day wether its a shake from home or from Smoothie King or the gym, but I try to have at least one a day. I take a multi vitamin (one a day for women) once a day. I just look at myself compared to everyone else and I see a fat slob. I know its in my head, but it sucks. I know that if a woman at 30 (I'm 23) can look fit and have kids so can I.

If I shouldn't take the winnie now, when? Right before the wedding? Even so I'd love to know the pros and cons!!!!

The winny will probably make you break out and retain a lot of water. IMO You do not need to take winny. Why are you so set on taking winnie? It sounds like you don't need winnie, you need to change your training program and possibly your diet to get the results you want.

Also, could you break down the 5-6 small meals down a bit further. What are you eating, (list the 6 meals individually with quantities and ingredients)?

What malibu barbie was getting at is you probably don't need to use winstrol at all considering your goals. If I understand your second post right, you only work on your abs, legs, and arms? What kind of "shake" are you getting from smoothie king? I would suggest you post your diet like this

Meal 1 (time) - (what you eat)
Meal 2 (time) - (what you eat)

^be sure you put your work out times in there also. You will probably fine the most info you want on winstrol and women if you do a search on Redsquirl posts.

Yesterday, since today its still early for example:
morning (around 8 am) I had a strawberry and banana smoothie with energy added from Smoothie King (20 oz)
(around 9 am) I drank an 8oz water
(around 11 am)then had an apple with natural peanut bttr from smuckers (the only kind I like!) and a full throttle, not sugar free, which I usually have sugar free, but my husband bought the regular kind
(around 11 am)I had another bottle of h2o
(around 12:30) I had a yogurt, oreo cookie. its the kind with the oreo's on the cover and you peel it back and put it in your yogurt and h2o
(around 1pm) I had a redline because I was tired
(around 2pm ) I had 1/2 small pure protien bar (there are two sizes) and h20
            (about 5pm) I had 2 8oz bttles of h2o while I lifted
(around 6:30 pm) I had another protien shake from the gym
(between 8:45 and 9:15pm) two more bttles of h2o while I played raquetball and did abs
(around 10pm) I got back from the gym (playing raquetball) and had a gatorade (only half a bottle) and some caribean rotissarie chix from Publix
----I never eat that late, but I was starving----
I usually don't eat after 8pm, not because I want to, but I'm never hungry

Here's a question? How good is Raquetball for a cardio workout? How long should I do it for? I only did it for 20 minutes, but my pants and shirt were soaked with sweat. I get so bored with cardio-I DREAD it!!!!

Last year, I too was not eating enough food and overtraining and Redsquirel suggested the following program that has done wonders for me. This incorporates food (which you are not getting enough of) and training one bodypart per night. Also you will be working your back, chest and shoulders (working your legs, abs and arms is not enough). This program is going to require you to cook some food and get organized before you leave the house. Stock up on lots of gladware/tupperware.

Meal 1- 5 egg whites, 1 whole egg. 1/2c. oatmeal AND 3oz of chicken or turkey. This meal is the most important of the day, and it is best to eat solid food here.

Meal 2-HERE is where you should eat your shake w/ 3 strawberries, 1 tsp flax

Meal 3- 6oz of chicken or tuna, 1/2 c. brown rice or sweet potato, 1c greens

Meal 4- same as Meal 2

                PWO shake

Meal 5- 6oz turkey, chicken or fish. Red meat 2x/week, 2c greens.

Meal 6- 6 egg white omelet or 1 scoop casein protein

Time your meals about 3 hrs apart. Your 5th meal should be about an hour after your PWO shake. Also, keep your fasting time at 10 hrs for now.

Do 30 min 4-5 days a week. Do 3 sessions in AM, and 2 in PM. I would also change the method of cardio you were doing. Like stairs 3 mornings a week, and sprints for the 2 nights. Continually change your method of training and cardio, and your body will change along with it.

In regards to your training- start doing 6-8 reps at MAX weight. Do 3 sets for each movement. I think right now you are still doing too many sets. So, what ends up happening is you end up capping out your own potential strength by doing too many sets/ reps because you're worn out. Thus far inhibiting muscle growth. Each week though, push yourself to do 5 or 10 more lbs. I would also suggest changing up your actual movements.

For instance, here is a sample workout-(3 sets, 6-8 reps- Max weight)

                Mon- Legs:
                walking lunges
                leg press
                extensions
(alternate leg press w/ free squat)

                Tues- Back:
                Pulldowns
                Rows
                Pull ups
                Bent over BB rows

                Wed-
                Abs/ Calves

                Thurs- Chest:
                Flat Bench
                Incline DB press
                Flies

                Fri- Bi's/Tri's
                Bar curl
                French Press
                Concentrated Curls
                Dips

                Sat: Shoulders/Hams
                DB Shoulder Press
                Stiff leg DL
                Side raises
                Lying Leg Curls
                Reverse Flies

One other thought, you also mentioned that your husband is into doing research about bodybuilding, etc. Please tell us that he eats real food and that he does not run on energy drinks all day either.

You're body is starving. The energy drinks only work for a short time, then you probably feel worse!
I agree, your doing harm to yourself. You definately need to do some research. Your hardly eating any actual food.

Believe it or not you need more actual food. You have to think of how the body is designed. Humans were not designed to eat yogart and water all day. The human body needs food to digest. The digestive process in turn speeds up the matabolism. What you are doing now is actually slowing your metabolism to a crawl. Thus, your not burning of anything because your body is holding onto everything it can.

On top of what everyone else has said, when you don't eat any solid, real food the shakes and such basically go right through you with very little absorption.

You will not get completey toned taking Winny, or any other AAS for that matter. You simply don't eat enough. Therefore your body is burning whatever you put in it, AND most likely burning muscle taboot. Simply put: you're overtraining, and malnourishing for what your goals are. Since you seem to be pretty active w/ all of the cardio you do, your body is at a calorie deficit everyday. Not good for those wanting to tone; which in other words for you means: wanting to maintain/gain a little muscle.

Again, your diet is not in tact; therefore AAS is not a good choice. You need to eat correctly and for your body for the next 6 months, and I'm sure you will see some positive impact.

My husband is 6ft 5in and eats like a horse. He is constantly eating, mostly chix and steak. He consumes mass amounts of protien. He also goes to the gym for up to 3 hrs (he's a chatter box) a day and if he doesnt go he gets aggrivated. I hear what your saying and I will change it up.. I will keep track of next week and the intake of food compare it with the cardio and wights and see if it fits together.

Exactly my point. A woman has no business training that way. (3hrs /day). Quite frankly, and person who spends 3 hrs a day at the gym is probably wasting their time.

But, what I want to know is, what changes ARE you going to make in accordance w/ your food intake? What differently are you going to do concerning weights/ cardio?

Wow, I am a under-eater, and even when I read your foods per day, I was like, all you are doing is drinking and not eating food...

2006Bride - ask RS, that's also my main downfall is that I don't enough. Recently I've been really forcing myself to eat and let me tell you, I have more energy and my hair is shinier! Us women are just so trained to eat less... I totally understand.

Someone also gave me advice to try and only consume 1 protine shake a day, all other sources of protein should be from real food.
