  • She needs advice on getting ripped

My wife is not really a body builder but she works out a lot and wants to get the hard muscle look. She is 44, 5 ft tall and 130lbs. About 28% body fat at present. Lifts 4 days a week and does 40 min cardio 5 days. 6 wks ago she started oral 90 testosterone 8 mg a day, and GH somatropin 1 iu per day. It has been great for our sex life but so far not a lot of results in the fat loss dept.. I know it takes a while for the GH to be effective but when can she expect to see results. Any suggestions on supplements, diet and exercise would be appreciated. She just needs a little encouragement. Thanks

Why doesn't she join the board?

What's her diet look like? That's the most important factor here.....

She watches what she eats but will not go on an extremely restrictive BB diet. She has done weight watchers before and looses a little. Just never gets the look that she wants. I will hopefully get her to ck out the board tomorrow. Thanks

I am going to guess that you are going to get hit with posts saying if she cant deal with a strict diet then forget any other advice. Diet & exercise naturally comes first. The guys, and ofcourse girls giving advice on here won't give any easy roads. Aside from there being none anyway! Train hard & eat right first. She dosn't need to eat a competitor's diet. She just need's to eat accordingly. Clean & consistant. If you post what she eat's, being HONEST, there may be some simple things your wife can change. I'm still amazed at what my change of diet has done for me. It was a god send!

thanks Kaz, I sent her the site and hopefully she will be able to get on today and list her diet plan. I agree that diet and hard exercise is the key. I know what works for me, I dont really know what works for the ladies.

In all honesty, the test is NOT going to help really in the long term. It will help her get the hard look she's looking for- then after , she'll go right back to where she was. In addition, she's going to have some sides she's not going to be ready for. Does she know this, and is she ready for these possibly irreversible sides? I understand she's taking oral test, but it's still test.

She needs to heed all of the advice about training and diet. It sounds to me like she's looking for the old magic pill....There ISN'T ONE. She's not losing fat because I guarantee you she's not eating enough. Period. It sounds like she has the training part down. But definitely not the diet since it doesnt' even seem like she can stay on a diet. What other diets has she tried? She may do well ont he South Beach Diet, or Body for Life. They are pretty easy to stick to. She needs to get her diet in order before getting on any AAS and spening the $$ for GH.

Test is not the answer, and GH is an expensive way to go. As for the GH- she won't experience much for about 3-6 months. In addition, she's not taking enough for it really to have an effect on her physique. She needs to be taking 2iu/day, 5 days a week.
