I'm not taking my already messed up neck to the chiropractor. Yes, I have been ages ago, but I'm not doing that again. My spine is mild scoliosis, also.

It is completely straight. So in return, it causes lots of musculoskeletal problems - pulling different muscles out of shape/place. Nothing is happening to them, they are just constantly extremely knotted up and hurting.

i deal with sort of the same thing. muscle knots can be a bitch. they can tighten around nerves and cut off circulation etc..Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostAs of just recently - I go to PT sometimes, because that's the only person that really gets into the muscle. I've tried regular massage and deep tissue, and neither have worked. It's just something that's ongoing and I don't have time to be at the PT every other day. He says they are so deep there's no way they will ever just "go away" and that it will take quite some time just to get the knots worked out.
i find that long hot showers help (hot as you can stand). it forces you to relax. also for me, i have to constantly watch my posture so that i dont hunch over. also important to keep stress to a minimum. stress plays a huge role in tight muscles.

DAY 28 --
Speaking of dreams - I had the WORST dream this morning and I NEVER remember dreams. And the WORST headache - but that could easily be because of my neck.
