  • Blood work ranges for women

I have seen the normal ranges for bloodwork for men. do any women here have them listed for women? I wanted my girl to get some bloodwork, she is getting older and she complains about always being tired and not interested in sex.

When she gets the lab results, her levels will be listed there along with what's considered the norm. If something's out of the normal range it will be marked.

it is funny because I didn't not even think of that. It must have been a long day at work when I posted this. THank Mrs. P

How old is she now? I know I definitely don't have the energy I used to have but getting into the gym and eating right (especially drinking a lot of water) really help. Does she train? Does she get a good night's sleep? Does she take any suplements? Is she stressed at work?

here is a quick run down. she is african american-36 years old, 1 child, she doesn't really seriously train, she does cardio maybe 2 or 3 times a week and does a weight training circuit once a week or twice. she has a chronic cough that doesn't let her sleep much but when she does sleep she is a very light sleeper. she doesn't take any supplements because she doesn't trust them (I have a hard time convincing her that most of the stuff is okay). I had her taking something called Passion reccommended from Fyre from ology. she seemed to be more sexual on it but it could have been placebo. no real stress at work that i would say, we are getting married in march so some stress from that coming up. I just want her blood checked for the obvious stuff just to rule out iron deficiency and stuff like that and also make sure her horomones are in check. I am trying to get her to get the doc or me to get her some sleep aid but she is afraid of drugs.

A chronic cough that doesn't let her sleep well will surely drain her during the day. I snore and when it's been a bad snoring night I really feel it the next day. If the cough could be controlled at night that may help somewhat.

She doesn't want to take supplements...not even a multi vitamin? That would do her some good if you could convince her to try it.

Good luck with the bloodwork results. Make sure she has her iron checked...low iron can make a person tired but it's not something they check for routinely unless you ask them to.

I can't imagine it is the iron because of the amount of red meat we eat. I am of the same mind that sleep at night will help a lot through the day. She has this hangup, like some people do, about putting pill form nutrients in her body. It is just a psychological thing, she has never had a bad experience or anything. Thanks for the advice Mrs. P.
