  • Best protein powder for lactose intolerance would be?

    So she eats very clean and her diet is IMO near perfect for her training.

    So at times she uses my whey from ON nutrition and doesn't really bother her much, if any.

    So because of the redundancy of our diets, we switch up at times and resort to other foods. In this case she's looking to add a shake, which currently she does none and if she does, it's occasionall.

    Thoughts or suggestions?

      Well she's used it probably a handful of times in months lol...she wants her own where she'll use it ED....she doesn't want to take a chance and just try mine....her response when I told her to just try it for a week was;

      "Not sure you'd like me walking around farting and taking eternal shits like you sexy man"

      Lol...

        Our milks are different though. She has to have lactose free milk or she'll blow her ass out

          Look for lactose-free protein powder. Some of the whey proteins are lactose-free, and certainly things like hemp protein, rice protein, etc. are.

          Just google "lactose-free protein powder" and you'll get a hundred choices.

              Thanks guys.

              I'll just have her try mine for a few days and hope her ass don't explode lol.

              I did do a search scrum, just so many different labels and brands come up that I have no clue who's good or bad.

                Stick with the well known brands, although honestly, bottom line is that we have no idea. Protein powders are supplements and we don't really know what the hell is in any of them. For example, ON gets crappy reviews on some unbiased sites for their QC. I just make sure all ingredients are US-made (I call/email them to make sure) and then hope they have some semblance of quality control so that I am not getting poisoned by heavy metal contamination or whatever lol...

                      I use Life's Basic plant protein. I have a lot of food allergies/sensitivities and this works well for me.

                          That should work better. The protein alone with like water, does not taste that great. I always mix mine with some type of fruit or almond milk and make it a smoothie. I'm ordering the chocolate now. I haven't tried that one yet.
