  • A Little Story About my 'Girlfriend'

Something about my 'girlfriend' (I use that term very loosely) really gets my attention.... no, its not her eyes or her ass, but her training & nutrition style. She's a track & field athlete (100 meters, 200, etc. sprinter) and shes very good at it..... so I spend the day with her Friday and watch as she ate me out of house and home. I mean holy shit, she probably eats near what I do (when Im cutting) but thats not the best part..... she eats chocolate like its her job. Candy bars, cakes, ice cream, jello (not the sugar free kind), etc. She eats ice cream right before she goes to bed and everything. Granted shes all about vegetables and getting her carbs before she runs, etc. but she eats like trash. And before everyone says "help her" or whatever... you must understand that she could care less.... shes good at what she does and shes content on doing it her way... granted she would probably be a little better, but shes pretty badass.... she eats what she pleases despite my advice..... I envy the girl....

Oh, incase you're wondering, she weights right around 112-115.

    I hate her.

Good for her YellowJacket -- I wished it were me! I eat cleanly and stay the same despite the training and cardio and the balance I try to strike with it all. Good genetics.

I figure as much as she runs, her metabolism is through the roof, so she can afford to eat whatever she wants, not much worry in not being able to burn it off...

I'm pretty much the same way. I have a very high metabolism. So, I can eat pretty much whatever I want. Although recently I did put on a little bit of chub. maybe my metabolism is starting to slow down a hair now that I'm getting older!

I wish too LC and Sana.

YellowJacket - there is a difference though in keeping weight down from cardio though.

I used to be the speedwalking queen. 6miles plus in 1.25 hours and was a size 2 and 129 lbs at 5'7 -- but did not have a lick of muscle on me...and I ate cheesburgers and fries and crap.

She'll probably have cardiovascular disease by then :)

Im workin' with her..... she actually eats a real breakfast now, no more chocolate chip pancakes with Reese cups...

OMG -- that breakfast sounds sinful!

Good for her YJ! I eat very cleanly and still cannot get myself in a spot that I am comfy with. Sucks being old I tell ya.
